This unit consists of a metal detector head which contains the electric control system and a current supply piece. The product to be controlled runs on a conveyor belt through the opening of the detector passage creating a high-frequency electromagnetic field. If a metal particle is conveyed with the product through this passage the electromagnetic field is disturbed.
