Description
The coating machine in stainless steel design has a total length of 2 meters as a standard size and can be integrated into most existing lines.
For the coating, two veil boxes with veil sheet and two blower bags are installed. These assemblies are adjustable in height and in belt run direction. The head of the machine is equipped with service doors, so these assemblies can be easily serviced. For the bottom coating a frequency-controlled shaft is mounted, which carries the mass from the cold pocket and generates the bottom wall as needed with an adjustable wiper. A full or bottom coat can be set. Afterwards, a pneumatic vibration line can be used to further shake off mass.
The base of the coating machine is divided into two sections and thus facilitates a material change. In the work area of the veil boxes there is a extendable mass wagon with mixing screw, on which the feeding pump SIVAG for the two mass veils and a return-pump is mounted. The subsequent part of the machine is equipped with its own double-walled container so that dragged-along mass can flow back into the mobile wagon. Under the tub are two water heating containers with screw-in heating elements and water pumps for hot water supply.
At the outlet there is a so-called “Tail-skip roller” installed, which removes a coating residue at the product end before delivery to the cooling channel. The direction of rotation can be adjusted depending on the product and an electric heater prevents mass buildup. The working space is accessible with polycarbonate panels, but the workspace is kept within the required temperature range using electric heaters.
For the control of the machine there is a control panel on the swing arm, the PLC control itself is mounted in a separate control cabinet. The drives are frequency-controlled to adapt to the product, and thus the belt speed can be continuously adjusted independently.
