Description
The overwrapping machine in stainless steel design has a total length of 2 meters as a standard dimension and can be integrated into most existing lines.
For the coating, two veil boxes with veil sheet and two blower bags are installed. These assemblies are adjustable in height and in the direction of band travel. The head of the machine is equipped with service doors, so these assemblies can be easily serviced. For the bottom coating, a frequency-controlled shaft is mounted that carries the mass from the cold bag and, with an adjustable wiper as needed, generates the bottom edge. A full or bottom coating can be set. Subsequently, a pneumatic vibration section can further shake off additional mass.
The substructure of the overwrapping machine is divided into two sections and thus facilitates a mass change. In the work area of the veil boxes, a retractable mass wagon with a mixing screw is mounted, on which the dosing pump SIVAG for the two mass veils and a return pump are mounted. The following part of the machine is equipped with its own double-walled container so that dragged-along mass can flow back into the mobile wagon. Under the trough there are two water heating containers with screw-in heaters and water pumps for hot water supply.
At the outlet there is a so-called “tail-off curl” mounted, which removes an overcoating residue at the product end before handing over to the cooling channel. The direction of rotation can be adjusted depending on the product and an electric heater prevents mass buildup. The working space is easily accessible with polycarbonate plates, but maintains the working space within the required temperature range with electric heaters.
For the control of the machine, a control panel is mounted on the swing arm, the PLC control itself is mounted in a separate control cabinet. The drives are frequency-controlled to adapt to the product, and thus the belt speed can be steplessly adjusted independently.
