Description

The form-fill-seal machine features a dual-reel film tower equipped with a splicer, allowing for rapid film changes. A SICK photocell control system enables the use of pre-printed film. Film from the reel is shaped into a tube by a forming collar and sealed along the longitudinal seam. A subsequent transverse sealing unit, equipped with two sealing jaws, closes the ends of the packages. The machine is designed for use with cold-seal film, enabling an output of approximately 380 packages.
The system includes an acceleration section consisting of three conveyor belts—each with a working width of approximately 150 mm and a length of 1 meter—designed to align the products. It also features a 90° curved conveyor (turning left) with a 150 mm working width, followed by an additional 1-meter-long conveyor belt (also with a 150 mm working width). The infeed system, powered by LENZE drives, is managed by a dedicated control cabinet. The packaging machine is equipped with an acceleration belt to time the product flow; a separate, dedicated control cabinet is also provided for the machine's control system.
